Daniel's nursery took part in a poetry-writing project called 'My First Poem', in which the children personalised a template poem.

My First PoemMy name is
Daniel and I go to nursery during the day,
When I'm there I like to
go in the home corner and play.
Sid, Elze and Jamie are my best friends,
My
mummy picks me up when the day ends.
My family are
happy, there are
four of us in all,
My favourite person is
Daddy, who is really cool.
We love to play with
my train set and cars together,
If I could I'd play forever.
My favourite meal is
pizza and carrots, because it's yum,
Helping
Mummy cook is always lots of fun.
I help by
going to the shop for food while they do the rest,
When we work together it always turns out best.
As a family,
the park is where we like to visit,
We always
go on the swings, I wouldn't want to miss it.
I would like to take my friend
Sid to our favourite place,
I know he would think it's really ace.
This is my first poem, all about me and my family.
